közel Delta, British Columbia (Canada)
A short walk through the publicly accessible part of Burns Bog. Good on a wet day. Wellies advisable during winter and spring. The entire walk is on raised boardwalks passing above the very-wet peat bog and across standing water. The track crosses stunted forests, bogs, meadows, and cedar groves.
Access is from a large parking lot at the "Planet Ice" hockey facility in Delta.
The boardwalks can be slippery when wet, and have narrow non-slip mesh grates. Lots of rest benches along the way.
Parking. Inside "Planet Ice" there is a snack bar with tables viewing the hockey rink, and washrooms.
After crossing under the main highway, head south along the main path past a Park Information sign where pocket size maps of the bog trails are available.
