Corovoda - Berat

At 8 o`clock in the morning a daily bus starts from Berat to Corovoda. It takes nearly two hours and the cost is 300 lekes.

Once in Corovoda we begin hour trip at the end point of Osumi Canyon. We knew this time that for sure we were not going to enjoy the majesty of the canyon, but kayaking from Corovada to Berat was a nice goal too.

We have divided the trip into 3 stages, two stops and the glorious arrival at the most beautiful city in Albania.

1st Stage Corovado - beyond Bogove village
Still the rapids are interesting, we pay attention in two parts.

2nd Stage Bogove village - beyond Polican
The rivers is getting calm, but you can still find fun in some whitewater.

3nd Stage Polican - Berat
The last part, the rivers gets wider and appears plenty of canal typical from an braided river, so we struggled ourself to find the best canal in order not to run aground.
