közel Haïtoura, Liban-Sud (Lebanon)
This is an amazing trail in south Lebanon, namely the Jezzine area. The hike went through the towns of Haytoura, Maknouniyi, Kaytouli, Homsieh, Roum, and Rimat. The trail is deep in inside pine forests that gives this region a majestic beauty. Oak, plain, and poplar trees are also found on this trail. The fall season gave the trees dresses of beautiful colors that made this hike all the more pleasant. The trail ranged in elevation from 1100 m to 688 m.
The hike started in Haytoura village; on to Horsh (woods of) Roum of pine and on to Rimat village. We encountered: beautiful landscapes, pine forests, Cindy trees, and water springs.
The weather was great fall weather for a hike. the temperature varied from 13 degrees Celsius to 19 degrees with dark clouds and blue skies.

Dear Zahi, thanks a lot for sharing this superb hike. I am rating it moderate / moderate + however. First it seems that it is not hiked often as we had to bushwhack in several sections. Fortunately we brought our machete with us. Second, some route finding skills are required in several sections (pine tree forest, agriculture terraces, abandoned village of Roum).
