Its comparatively an easy hike and there are many ppl who did it. But we did deviated little bit to make it a kind of "Easy+" one.
We started easily walking next to the dam area through the off road path. Ended up seeing a tunnel after about 1.5km passed. We were crazy enough to walk through the tunnel which we never know how long. The tunnel is made of multiple slabs and they do have gaps in between through which the sunlight showed us the way. It was about 600m long.
After walking another km, we got surprised to see a nice valley with golden grass. Perfect picturesque landscape. We didn't expect something like that when we started the trail. We deviated from the trail and climbed to top of the mountain side to witness the landscape view, also to put some extra work for the knees.
We took about 2 hours to finish it. If you follow the trail path only then it is a very basic dog friendly hike and suitable for beginners with nice views and ambiance.

Went on this last weekend. Enjoyable hike with bits of scrambling when going off trail but generally easy. Winding path in the second half between the mountains is particularly fun.
