We started from Radomire which has a sign where the trail starts. Other than that, it has very little markings and going up, it is sometimes visible through some goat paths and sometimes it isn't. It can be confusing as there are at least two trails that had sporadic markings that I saw. So some people can get confused and maybe get lost if they are not good at navigating. Still, it's not difficult as long as you know which direction you're going. Definitely recommend a GPS or a maps app in your phone. It'll give you comfort.
It has a lot of elevation gain/loss so it can be tiring summiting from the north, and with the trail marking not being the best, it can be a difficult hike.
I did the hike with a local and he wanted to tackle it from the northwest side. This was quite an adventure. There's no trail and it involved rock scrambling, a bit of climbing, and very narrow ridge walking. I will admit that it was fun and would totally do it again. The guy I went with wasn't an avid hiker so I think it's doable but maybe if you have some experience and/or are with someone else. Otherwise, just stay on the actual trail. I liked that the doing it our way provides nice views of the north (normally blocked by other peaks at the summit).
It's a very nice hike seeing the various rock formations and the different types of rocks as you go up.
