You can certainly call that a track log :)
I only went to Focal Peak, but did add some challenge going via
Upper Portals area, and steep to Montserrat.
I expected views relating to satellite imagery,
and was obviously rewarded differently.
I think it had to do with wildlife, and how undisturbed it was.
A bower bird had built a bower right across the track.

I have a photo of the/a bower. The poor bird was blue deprived. I wonder if it was the same one as I find myself asking what track? I wish we were doing it this weekend instead as I have been up at Binna Burra today and the weather was balmy and clear. About the track log I have it set at the max number of readings so I can say which side of that rock/tree. Because of this the distances become exaggerated ( measure the length along the smooth side or the tooth side of a saw ). Another in the party put the total distance at 18km. It definitely felt more like 28

That is exactly what I thought, and so tempted to go back with some organic blue stuff! Mine was a few years ago though, between Montserrat and FP, but much closer to FP.
