Hike over Osoršćica: from Pešćine village, to Sv. Mikula peak, then Televrina peak, descent to the mountain lodge and finally through the woods to Osor.
Ascent to Sv. Mikul is mostly in the shade. It's somewhat steep, and towards the peak it goes in many zig-zag patterns. If you easily run out of breath, you may need to stop more frequently, but otherwise it's very manageable even without any special equipment. Decent hiking shoes will suffice. We've seen older people and even children hike the trail.
From Sv. Mikul to Televrina it's mixed, regarding sun and shade. The trail levels out from here, with only a slight upward climb. From Televrina to the mountain lodge it's all sun and no shade, but the trail is down from here on. From the mountain lodge to Osor it's again mixed parts sun and shade, also going downwards all the time.
This is not a difficult trek technically, but the scorching sun in the height of Summer will exhaust you. So come prepared, bring lots of water on a hot day (over 2 liters per person recommended). You can also refresh yourself in the mountain lodge.
Edit: 09/2020 - the trail is in the same excellent condition, everything said above still applies.
