Can’t agree more with description, descending to the beach was very difficult and steep. I would say difficulty level : Difficult not moderat.
Yet ascended to the beach view point is moderate & doable even for kids > 8 years.

This trail is now off limits from this acess point (thanks to irresponsible hikers). There is a big sign board to that effect.
A new marked trail can be followed about 300m down the road. Al Rabi tower. Not as exciting but nice views of the port and the secret beach.

Hi, we tried this trail again first quarter of 2020 but they have already closed the entry point. There is another way though. Search for Al Rabi Mountain Trail. It's just. 5km or 1km away from the jump off point of this trail. Once you reach the top of Al Rabi Trail, you can trek down to the secret beach. Hope this helps.
