Itinerary description
The launch is near the east end of the SR 92 Bridge at Goodland. There's a clear area on the south side for parking and a ramp down to the water's edge that's driveable as long as you stop before going into the water (just joking). The launch is fairly flat and easy. There's no fee, and the area is well used.
This trail heads southeast of Goodland and turns east before Coon Key into Sugar Bay and winds through mangroves to Palm Bay, then through Hell's Gate and back. Tide was outgoing, and the water was shallow by the time we hit Palm Bay. The tidal currents were noticeable.
