Loop Silverton-Animas Fork- Cinnamon Pass 12,620’ - Lake City - Engineer Pass 12,800’ - Animas Fork - Silverton
Moderate 4x4 trail, difficult at times.
Passing an on-coming vehicle is a challenge in some sections and may be intimidating for non-experienced drivers.
A short-wheel-base 4x4 with high clearance is needed. Expect steep drop-offs and rocky sections with some tight switchbacks.
The views are outstanding.
