Itinerary description
Great trail from Maaser Chouf town square to the cedar reserve then moved to the top of the Barouk mountain to view Bekaa Valley. The trail took us to Barouk cedar reserve and back to Maaser Chouf.
This hike was special to me; I met Michel Mfarrij, the father of hiking in Lebanon and a major contributor to the Lebanon Mountain Trail (LMT).

Scenery

Nice and rewarding hike with a little to many thistles. At some points the route does not fit the new tracks. We found the right way easily, tho. Thanks 🙏
