Itinerary description
What a great way to Hike Aammiq this time of year!
Even though the waters have almost dried out due to last year’s relatively dry season we stared our hike at the Aammiq reserve, heading towards the reserve farm located nearby, and then we went up to the Beautiful Aammiq village (home of the famous ‘Tawlit Aammiq’ restaurant), all the way to the Skaff residence (former minister’s home) located at around 1,000m close to a beautiful pine, and Cedar’s forest.. beautiful loop far from all the usual spots my outdoor enthusiast friends have chosen with the first snow all over the mountain tops !
