Itinerary description
What a beautiful experience today at the Aammiq Wetland Reserve in West Bekaa!
Nothing technical as the reserve consists of a trail going around the high waters all around.
That’s the ideal place we’ve chosen for our “Offering To The Waters” a new “Wellness Hiking Project” I’ve created alongside my friends Avedis Kalpaklian and Maya Abou Chedid (Shamanic Practitioner).
Beautiful reserve. It is Highly recommended you arrive early so you can see the Buffaloes moving from their stables to the Wetlands around 9:30am till they come back around 5pm! Take time to recharge listening to the sounds of Nature all around while walking.. Look around at the high waters and enjoy the sceneries of Mount Hermon on your right, Mont Sannine (the side you can’t see from Metn and Keserwan) on your left. Look up towards Ain Zhalta and Barouk, and simply enjoy!
