Itinerary description
Easy hike, there is just one steep slope half way. The track is easy to find as there are some old cycle pathways. Plenty of space to park. You set off walking between the camel pens. It's a quite flat route. Once you reach the farms, after about a third, we missed the road and walked around the farm, directly behind the fence, which was also ok. After the Meena mineral water plant you get back into the wadi. This was the most beautiful part. You then have one steep hike but it's quite a achievable. We had our break up at the top and then tackled the second third. absolutely beautiful to walk along the canyons. There are lots of arrows sprayed on stones, so you can't get lost. A few ups and downs. Finally you get down into the canyon for the last third. That pathway down has to be tackled a bit carefully. Once down you have to walk right! Walking out that canyon was our least favourite part, the children got a little bored. However, just flat... We finally reached the dam and just before the water starts you walk up to the trailer camps of Meeras. We were lucky and a very friendly staff member gave us a lift down the road, back to our cars to save us from the last kilometer on the road.

Easy loop with a good variation of up and downhill climbing (easy) as well as dust road and single track walking. Good for adventurous children.
