Lovely walk from marketplace down the East Allen valley, then steep uphill at Oakpool, to enjoy fabulous views. Look out for Llamas at farm on top of the moor!!.
Return via sheep pastures below Catton...path zig-zags in a few places here, watch route carefully.
Last half mile retrace river back to Allendale marketplace.
