Itinerary description

Greatest hike we made so far. Very different sceneries in a big circle around the Lung Cu Flag Point. Astonishing views and very easy for all with relatively flat trails (until the end but I advise not to walk to highest point in the end - read further for more details!)

We didnt always stop the trekking recorder and walked very slow so you can walk easily much quicker (in around 3H). Important to remember at the last part where we turned left up the hill through agriculture: it is to see China but its not recommended. There is no real path and all was burned during our trip. It can be overgrown when you go. In that case, just go straight down the hill - you will see our hike comes back on that trail in just 50 to 100meters - following the path and you reach the end at a minute of 15. Last 45mn is going up. All in nature.

Also great possibilities to set up your tent somewhere. Has great views. No not great but really incredible. Cant imagine how it would look with clear skies! Very nice for staying two nights in Lung Cu during Ha Giang motorcycle loop. Nice to walk for a change. Really recommendable. Bring water for on the way. Especially when the sun is shining and when hot! We shared 1.5liters together (2p) for the whole tour but then it was cool and no sun. Enjoy and pay it forward!

Lunch break

Our lunchpoint more or less half way with stunning view. We paused from the route. In order to get there follow the route we used to get back to the track. Its the same way as we walked there. If you see some bottles with happy water you reached the point to lunch. Feel free to try the happy water or just enjoy your lunch with great backrest! No lunch? No problem, if you are lucky its the season for wild strawberries which are very safe and nice to eat!
