Itinerary description

This trail is a must do hike in Jasper. We did the hike in a counterclockwise direction from Sixth to First Bridge. Besides scenic views from the bridges, there are numerous viewpoints into the canyon with impressive cascades and falls. After First Bridge is a restaurant offering a good selection of food and drink. From here, take the Upper Canyon Trail back to Sixth Bridge. The descent is quick and steep in several spots. The trail is popular and can get crowded. We arrived at the Sixth Bridge Parking at 11am and had no problem getting a parking spot. Parking at First Bridge was completely full when we reached it. The we're some muddy spots on the trail and two areas where you had to cross the mud using rock stepping stones.
