Itinerary description
Parking/starting at the Delftse Hout parking place, this route is used by students of IHE Delft for LandCover data collection using portable GIS applications. The area is intended for novices with limited difficulty. The adequacy of the collected information is useful to see the evolution of nature and man-made intervention with time.
It is an open round but it can be closed easily by just walking from the last point at commercial center back to the parking place. Notice that the area is entirely implanted and many opportunities of landcover and species (vegetative and aquatic) makes recognition rather challenging.
